I am a 20-year US Army vet and former combat soldier with training in political science, economics, public policy, international relations and social movements. I have managed peacekeeping operations, political advocacy campaigns, and economic development efforts focused on protecting Federal investment in military installations and defense industries.
My research suggests that a fairly progressive policy preferences, managed conservatively, would maximize our chance to live in a more perfect Union, know justice in a tranquil society, defend ourselves while promoting the general welfare, and thereby “secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.”
This means voters need a choice at the ballot box, and this choice must include Democratic candidates. Blue Ballot is my small contribution to this effort. Just what this contribution will look like is to be determined.
